Railways

Spalding Associates staff are especially trained to work in the rail way environment, both the national (Network Rail) system and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Staff hold IWA (Independent Working Alone) licences, Personal Track Safety licences and Channel Tunnel Rail Link PTS licences.

We can undertake all species and habitat work within the railway corridor whilst being fully compliant with the health and safety systems of the railway environment, avoiding the cost implications of COSS supervision. We have been working in this environment for 4 years and have developed detailed GIS mapping and database systems for maintenance of the railway corridor.
